LED Light Bars, Arrays and Bar Graphs

LED light bars are rows of glowing LED lights. They offer a brighter, wider and peering beam of light. Light bars are most useful for night driving, emergency signalers, security beams, boats and heavy equipment. They are as dependable as independent high-intensity lamps. No ballast or voltage change is needed, so they complement most automotive systems. Heat is diverted rearward, so the lenses do not burn on touch, and light bars are durable to impact.
LED Arrays are clusters of LED packages or dies constructed through several methods. Each method depends on the fashion and extent to which the LED semiconductor producer packages the LED chips.
Examples of LED Arrays are Package LED Arrays and Chip-on-board LED Arrays. Package LEDs comprise of an optical lens, bonding wires, electrodes and resins to shelter the LED. They can be referred to as T-Pack LEDs and are fastened to a heat sinking substrate via “through hole” mounting (surface mounting). Chip-on-Board LED Arrays are identified by the direct connection of the bare chip to a substrate. They hold the advantage of high density, intensity, and regularity. They provide optimal thermal performance for longer spans, stability, and dependability.
An LED Bar Graph consists of a series of LEDs arranged consecutively, an analog feed (e.g. potentiometer) and a small code in the middle.
