Licensing Update
Microsoft is providing an extension to the Customer License Agreement (CLA) 7.0 expiration date for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who have had shipments in the period June 1, 2022 - May 31, 2023. Microsoft will provide the same extension for OEMs whose CLA started on or after June 1, 2022. The extension will be for a period of five (5) years, out to December 31, 2028. The extensions will be executed by Microsoft in the coming months, well in advance of the end of the calendar year. There is no action required by OEMs.
